Kia ora koutou,

My holidays started off a bit wet… As you know we celebrated my son’s

wha th birthday… We were washed out with the rain, but the party soldiered on. Due to weather our big surprise (4 in 1 bouncy castle) was unable to get to us. But our day was still fantastic!

We had bubble fights & games galore. We were fill to the top with lollies, fizzy drinks and chocolate mud cake – A ‘Bumble Bee Transformer cake! Pretty cool, from one of the Aunties.

Te Mana Aorangi-Tahi was Bumble-Beed out, his favourite character at the moment… More pressies, games and food kept us busy!

Monday the first day of our school holidays our family traveled to Taneatua on the out-skirts of Tuhoeland, to visit my parents and youngest sister and her baby Kylah Rangiaahua who preside there.

Naianei/Now, our family is staying on the East coast our first night at Papa’s whare at Whakaangiangi and now 30th September in Tikitiki with our whanaunga Cindy Waitoa. Beautiful weather today, hopefully it will be around for our ‘Hui Taurima’ on Saturday 3rd of October.

So our nights are full of waiata, haka and katakata (laughs).. It’s been awesome learning the actions and tangi of our taonga – waiata tawhito from here.

We have been lucky enough to practice in Putanga – Whare kai. Just awesome!

More information to come. One more day then ‘SHOW TIME!’

In the holidays I went to my Cook Island Netball practise. The first thing we did was some warm ups.We played against the under 15’s and 13’s team one. After our game we lined in three rows just to learn our national anthem.if we talk while were doing our march we would have to do it again.
